Protection against harmful rodents
The new Vienna Rat Act came into force on 29.04.2005, not least due to an initiative of Ecowork. The compulsory regular inspection through concessionary pest control experts remains unchanged, however the territorial allocation has been cancelled. It is now the responsibility of the owner to ensure adherence to the Act. Our monitoring of harmful rodents is undertaken with child and pet safe baiting units, which are set up at strategic points, also externally. We forward the monitoring report together with non-binding recommendations, i.e. structural measures for prevention or control through electronic devices.
